My name is Magalie.
Passionate about natural sciences, since 2020, I have shared my enthusiasm for insects which I consider both living beings and works of art.
I work 40% at Ikea to pay my bills, the rest of the time I devote to my passion.
🦋 I carefully naturalize these creatures before putting them under glass, thus offering them eternity.
I also like to make jewelry by recycling insects that are too damaged to frame.
🐞 At the same time, I am deepening my knowledge about breeding butterflies and beetles, sharing my discoveries and documenting their lives through fun stories on Instagram .
🪲 Many of us view insects as scary enemies that must be crushed on sight. With my creations I hope to restore a sense of wonder for the natural world and above all to spark an interest in insects and change their perception as frightening creatures.
Having been afraid of insects myself (yes, yes!), I learned to know them and I now appreciate them for their true value.
